As an elite consultant to both law firm leaders and corporate legal departments, Tim Corcoran’s consulting business, Corcoran Consulting Group was already well-known. His accolades and credentials spanned pages of success stories, yet before working with Cyentist, his brand positioning limited how he was perceived by the clients he truly wanted. This was further complicated by an out-of-date DIY website, where he wrote a stunningly brilliant and popular blog. Tim’s consulting clients sought after him to speak at their lawyer retreats and executive workshops, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Ultimately he wanted to be known as the top speaker in the legal industry for his unique area of expertise. Speaking resulted in his best consulting engagements, but he wanted to fill his capacity for speaking engagements.

Tim started with a Cyentist Game Plan™ with Sean. This comprehensive two-hour interview was the first step to understanding and clearly mapping the past, present, and potential future state of Corcoran Consulting Group. Cyentist developed a custom-written brief detailing brand priorities and the exact steps for Tim to take to shift the perception of his brand in the minds of his ideal clients.
Tim engaged us for a Cyentist Game Changer™ rebrand project, and we got straight to work on strategically reimagining his brand from the ground up.

Tim was already a successful consultant and was ultimately expanding his consulting brand, so we took both the speaker and consulting brands into account as we commenced the project.
To meet the objective of our brief, the concept required visual synergy between the speaker and consulting brands to minimize friction for the clients who hire Tim for both services. This was accomplished with a uniform color palette, typography, fonts, and layouts across the two visual brands to ensure they appear as part of the same organization.
For his speaker brand, we centered everything around a short, catchy, built-in call to action and tagline designed to help Tim close more business: BRING IN TIM. This was a significant departure from his original domain name, CorcoranConsultingGroup.com, which now points to his new domain name, BringInTim.com in order to prioritize his speaking and high-end consulting services business. We migrated his blog to his new website platform and built a new events section called “Where’s Tim?”
Cyentist worked together with Tim to draft the website and marketing content and advised on productizing and pricing his services to ensure a smooth client onboarding process. The resulting services were a game-changer for the business and provided a clear and profitable way forward based on his clients’ needs.
For the branding, messaging, website, and marketing materials, the key focus was making Tim simultaneously relatable as a peer to his audience, and as an approachable contrarian voice promoting profitable disruption of outdated law firm business models. The colors, font weight, and imagery were specifically selected to connote authoritative disruption.
